ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis of Symmetrical Biaryls Through Palladium-Catalyzed Ligand-Free Homocoupling of Aryliodine(III) Diacetates

In addition to the homocoupling of easily available, bench‐stable aryliodine(III) acetates, the method is also applicable to the corresponding transformation of aryliodine(III) bis(trifluoroacetates), albeit delivering the products in lower yields.
