ChemInform Abstract: Crystal Structure of Hexaaquadichloridoytterbium(III) Chloride

Crystals of [YbCl2(H2O)6]Cl are obtained by slow evaporation of MeCN solutions of the compound also containing di‐2‐pyridyl ketone oxime (dpko) in the attempt to prepare the Yb‐dpko complex.
