Zusammenfassung:A green and simple method for the synthesis of the title compounds by the reaction of 5-chloroacetyl-8-hydroxyquinoline ( ), pentane-2,4-dione ( ), and amines in the presence of a catalytic amount of 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane at 60°C is described. The procedure is amenable for the synthesis of other substituted pyrroles. Short reaction time, environmentally friendly procedure, and excellent yields are the main advantages. The structures of products were characterized by H NMR, IR, and MS spectra.
