Booker T. Washington Rediscovered

[...]he is regularly described as one of the two dominant leaders of African American educational philosophy along with William Edward Burghardt Du Bois (Brown, Ricard, & Donahoo, 2004). Notwithstanding, there are three achievements for which Booker T. Washington Rediscovered must be heralded: (a) the presentation of archival material in facsimile form; (b) the cogently detailed and contextualized "Notes" section in the volumes end matter; and (c) the meticulously disaggregated topical "Index." Since the value of the original source documents have been detailed earlier, it is important to highlight the significant educative and research value of the "Notes" and "Index."
