[...]he finds that 'much of political theory, in its dedication to transpolitical foundations of judgment, manifests an elitist, antidemocratic bias', that echoes nineteenth century moralism (p. 678). [...]as long as the institutions structuring distributions remain in force, or are not considered pertinent matters of normative inquiry, a one-time redistribution will fail truly to produce justice as problematic institutions reproduce, sooner or later, unjust distributions.
