Zusammenfassung: | Reviews the book, Perspectives on the Intersection of Multiculturalism and Positive Psychology edited by Jennifer Teramoto Pedrotti and Lisa M. Edwards (see record 2014-26914-000). This book is an extremely important contribution to positive psychology that has long been needed. In many ways this books represents an essential part of rebooting positive psychology. The editors and contributors to this book do not shy away from providing strong critiques of the positive psychology literature and founders, yet do so without denouncing the whole of positive psychology. While it may be argued this may not be the most positive approach to encouraging positive psychology to begin engaging multicultural perspectives and topics, had the book only reviewed the relevant current literature and encouraged more multicultural research the value of this contribution would have been greatly limited.
