Zusammenfassung:	The problem of comparing areas of two different maps or different areas of one map is considered. An algorithm is based on the verification of isomorphism of two graphs that describe territory and are generated automatically from a database of topological relations between spatial objects. Experimental research of the developed algorithms on images of the city map is given.
