ChemInform Abstract: A Practical Route to Substituted 7-Aminoindoles from Pyrrole-3-carboxaldehydes

The title transformation starts with a Wittig reaction with fumaronitrile and subsequent Lewis‐acid mediated cyclization which is performable in a one‐pot two step manner or with isolation of the Wittig‐intermediate.
