Zusammenfassung: | The emergence of surging formation plans in the capital of Cuba in the year 2000 for nursing technicians demanded a remodeling of technical teaching for this profession. In the 2003-2004 period, the New Pedagogical Model (nmp) came into being for the Nursing Degree, to guarantee the entry and complete term of the young students that were the fundamental cantera for the formation plans. In the present work, the author tries to mention some of the most relevant contributions of the nmp which influenced the undergraduate subsystem for this profession. The consulted literature gave as a result several of the contributions consistent with the demands of the formative process of the medical university nowadays, which are based on a more flexible conception. The integration of the technical teaching personnel of Higher Education and administrative structures in both teaching levels implied a change of thought and action on behalf of the teacher, propelling him to generate, transmit and transform knowledge. With this, the coherence, quality and sustainability of the educational process can be guaranteed, having as a result a nurse capable of providing an excellent service in the subsequent years, which would help preserve the accomplishments of Cuba in the field of health in the last fifty years. This makes up the greatest contribution from the emergence of the surging plan, not only to the undergraduate subsystem and to the nursing profession, but to the public health of Cuba. |
