Zusammenfassung:The article presents the results of a research project carried out in the department of Putu-mayo (Colombia) with a group of survivors of the massacre perpetrated on 9th January 1999 by the Putumayo Southern Block of the United Self-Defense groups of Colombia against the Police Station El Tigre. The analysis focuses on the stories of sexual violence told by a group of women from that locality and on the devastating eects of paramilitary actions on the life, bodies, and sexuality of the women who survived the violence perpetrated by those armed actors in that region of Putumayo.
