Zusammenfassung:The intention of the study is the institutional change make clear and organizations that they have presented in the financial Colombian sector during 1990-2010, across the new rules of international game, of the mergers, the strategic alliances, the integrations and in general, by means of the diverse administrative and juridical forms, which they have involved significant changes both in his organizational structure and in the technological and social aspects. This investigation is approached theoretically from the sociological institutionalism that allows explaining the changes happened in a period of certain time. Being coherent with the theory the qualitative methodology through the contrast of two studies of case (GROUPS BANCOLOMBIA AND AVAL), Using different analytical categories that were worked across the program of investigation ATLAS. ti. The study proposes an interpretive model across whom the different institutional changes are explained and organizations. The results of the investigation appear across components as: Principal changes, impact of the principal changes, evaluation of the changes, perception of the conflicts and the sectorial policies, the different speeches of the social actors and practices of corporate government. The article ends up by presenting the principal conclusions on the institutional change and organizational in the financial sector Colombian represented across the interpretive model that proposes.
