Logistic regression analysis, estimated separately for MBs under age 80 and 80 plus, was used to determine if RRS reduces the likelihood (odds ratios < 1.0) of dying relative to MBs receiving no RRS, after controlling for gender, race, and 41 co-morbid conditions.
