Zusammenfassung:Portugal approved the first and second amendments to the Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context (Espoo Convention) by, respectively, Decree 3/2012 of 13 March and Decree 2/2012 of 15 February. Decree 13/2012, of 25 June, approved the Protocol on Strategic Environmental Assessment to the Espoo Convention. The protocol entered into force for Portugal on 3 December (Ofcial Gazette, 8 October 2012, Notice 161/ 2012). Decree 24/2012, of 24 September, approved the amendments to Articles 25 and 26 of the Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes.
