Zusammenfassung:Background: Both chronic heart failure (CHF) and cancers are the most frequent diseases that cause the death in the developed counties. Since CHF may modulate the neurohumoral factors such as angiotensin II, catecholamine, adiponection, TNF-alpha and thyroid hormones, all of which may affect the onset or progression of cancers, we examined whether the presence of CHF increases the incidence of cancers.
