Zusammenfassung:This article describes a case report of a 40 years old male who presented with pain and swelling in the left superior maxillary region with a presumptive diagnostic of tumor-like lesion. The imagistic diagnosis revealed a residual radicular maxillary cyst with an intrasinus evolution. The patient was first investigated by x-ray (lower cranial incidence and orthopantomography) and then by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI - proton density weighted).
