Zusammenfassung: | The myth of Paris is the product of successive epochs that have grown, distributed and celebrated its image. Taking as starting point the idea that every myth is based on pre-existing myths, we interpreted the myth of Paris as a cumulative neo-myth, that is by linking several myths already spent (Paris, the biblical Eve, Narcissus, Bonaparte, Don Juan, the fatale woman), from which it borrows its components. Combining them in an original way, the myth of Parisian woman built her own scenario with a new meaning - the myth of Paris as the feminine singular. We can interpret the myth of Paris as the articulation of several elements: Paris, the men and the Femme Parisienne, Glory, Power, Money, Success are the main components of the constellation of myths of Paris. "The rise and fall" of Paris are the basis of mythicization and, respectively, of demythologizing the Femme Parisienne in the first and the second half of the nineteenth century. The capricious and contradictory aspect of the Parisienne makes a singular and protean character, a floating and unstable myth, like the era that created it. |
