Zusammenfassung: | Ion Luca Caragiale's comedies are a set that describes the late nineteenth Romanian society. But each comedy has its own individuality, as seen in ludic dimension. Thus O noapte furtunoasa (A Stormy Night) is interpreted as a family game of honor. A comic character in the play can be the subject or the object of comic. The comedy presents a number of representative types, with their own clearly defined characteristics. Caragiale's comic characters look like puppets stringing by their mechanical operation. The exchange of replies is the very essence of the creative drama. The characters bring laughter by the way they use inappropriate language or distort communication. |
