Zusammenfassung:The article focuses on the comparison of cognitive styles in four groups of students, Performing Arts, Music, Applied Arts, Culture and Leisure-Time Managers (n=253). The Allinson and Hayes' Cognitive Style Index (CSI) was implemented to identify the cognitive style of the respondents. Results show a statistical difference between the students of Performing Arts and the students of Music; also between the group of Performing Arts and Applied Arts. In the group of Performing Arts students, the CSI score mean was the lowest (the most intuitive group on a scale of CSI); the group of Music Students showed the highest CSI score (the most analytic group on a scale of CSI).
