Eestabilidade e carreira profissional: estudo comparado entre Bibliotecarios, Contadores e Analistas de tecnologia da informac?o

ABSTRACT This paper was based on research data of a doctoral study to obtain the doctoral title in a Brazilian program of post-graduation in Information Sciences. Through a comparative study between the following groups of professions: Librarians, Accountants and Information Technology Analysts. The text analyzes the characteristics of stability and professional career. The research method is focused on the quantitative approach, using the database of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, RAIS and RAIS MIGRA (1985-2009), as well as the data from the PNAD/IBGE (2002, 2004, 2006, 2008). It was found, regarding the professional performance of the analysed groups, that those professions which were regulated first show more favorable conditions for stability and career, which means better relations and labor conditions.
