PRIRODA (U) UMJETNOSTI PERFORMANSA

We will consider nature as topos of the performance art with an emphasis on local examples, and from a more distant past (ie. from the very beginning of the formation of performance art in a local context) - eg. from hermetic actions of Gorgona Group (1959-1966) on Sljeme and Vukomericke Gorice, and from Tomislav Gotovac' photo-performance Showing of Elle magazine (series of six photographs, Sljeme, 1962). It is a fragmentary section on how artists treat the space of nature in their performances, some of which have treated the nature as well as a phenomenon of Land Art (Earthworks).
