ChemInform Abstract: Taming the Carboxyl Group for Directed Carbometalation: Observations on the Use of Anions, Dianions and Ester Enolates

The copper‐mediated directed metalation of allenic acid (I) and ester (XIV) is investigated to yield β,γ‐unsaturated products (III) and (XV) regioselectively.
