ChemInform Abstract: One-Pot Synthesis of 2-Amino-4(3H)-quinazolinones via Ring-Opening of Isatoic Anhydride and Palladium-Catalyzed Oxidative Isocyanide-Insertion

The title reaction is applicable to a range of amines (II), isatoic anhydrides (I), and isocyanides (III) and affords the target heterocycles (IV) in moderate to high yields.
