Gender, Economic, and Ecological Justice Demands in Latin America: Toward an Interlinked Frame for Collective Action

Adopting a frame analysis, this article analyzes how transnational advocacy networks in Latin America interlink different agendas in specific international political opportunity structures. Specifically, it assesses the way REMTE and GRAP interlinked economic, ecological, and gender justice demands at the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development. This article provides insights on the factors that affect the alignment process of different demands under collective action frames. Este artículo analiza cómo las redes transnacionales de incidencia en América Latina intersectan diferentes agendas en las estructuras de oportunidades políticas a nivel internacional. Específicamente, analiza la forma en que REMTE y GRAP vincularon las demandas por justicia económica, ecológica y de justicia de género en la Conferencia de Naciones Unidas sobre Desarrollo Sostenible. Este artículo proporciona información sobre los factores que inciden en el proceso de alineamiento de las diferentes demandas en marcos de acción colectiva.
