Zusammenfassung: | Early childhood education has been gaining attention in the scientific community. The importance of learning during this period is largely recognized, specifically with regards to children's school success. During these last years, various conceptions of readiness for school and for life framed the research undertaken. In the last few years a number of researchers adopted an eco-systemic perspective within which various factors both closely and further related are to be considered to increase our understanding and to also implement interventions which promote educational success. This text introduces the various articles grouped within this theme on factors which promote school success from early childhood. The authors present a review of diverse issues and important research in this area in order to present a more in-depth reflection on this theme which is both complex and central. |
