Transboundary Environmental Co-operation: A. Prior Information / Consultation / Environmental Impact Assessment

The 5th Meeting of the Parties (MOP-5) to the Espoo Convention took place on 20-23 June in Geneva. The event involved representatives from nearly forty parties to the convention, international organizations (World Health Organization, International Atomic Energy Agency, and UN Environment Programme), regional non-governmental organizations, and universities. The meeting expressed satisfaction with the implementation of the activities in the work plan adopted at MOP-4 and adopted the work plan for the period between MOP-5 and MOP-6, which will also serve as MOP/ MOP-2.
