Zusammenfassung:[...]we used glmnet, an unbiased algorithm, to determine the best lung eQTL predictors of the soluble isoforms, receptor isoforms, or both of IL1RL1; additionally, we incorporated a cross-validation to replicate the resulting SNPs in randomly split folds of our data set. According to the ENCODE functional data, one of these SNPs, rs7568913, was found to bind GATA2 by using ChIP-Seq, and rs1558622 is located in an enhancer histone mark in lung cell lines.
