Zusammenfassung:Since 2005 the Norwegian surveillance system for health care associated infections (NOIS) was introduced by the government. All public hospitals that provide surgical procedures like coronary artery bypass graph, caesarean section, primary hip prosthesis, appendectomy, cholecystectomy and colon surgery undergo mandatory surveillance.
