Zusammenfassung:Infection control personnel performing surveillance activities noticed a cluster of patients with urinary isolates of multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa (MRPA) in neurosurgery unit. Seventeen patients acquired MRPA in the neurosurgery unit between 1 May and 30 June 2013. An outbreak investigation including a descriptive analysis, a case-control study was carried out to analyze risk factor for acquisition of MRPA.
