Zusammenfassung:Seventy percent of all CAUTIs are thought to be preventable (Umscheid et al, 2011). Despite electronic resources and Infection Control Professional (ICP) educational lectures to groups of staff, occasional cases of CAUTI continued to occur. We sought sustainable reduction of our infrequent but persistent cases of CAUTIs through budget neutral educational Methods. Electronic training is favored by our leadership because it is affordable and easily implemented. But is it effective?
