Zusammenfassung:The potential application of multispectral image processing to the archaeological world is illustrated using the example of ancient Maya murals from La Pasadita, Guatemala. This paper will show that by using high quality image acquisition systems and advanced image processing techniques, detail and information not easily observed by the naked eye can be uncovered and enhanced.
