Zusammenfassung:The purpose of this study is to determine the validity and reliability of students' graduate school placement results. Another purpose of this study is to determine whether the rate weights which have been decided by The Council of Higher Education and the universities come true; if it happens, to determine in which degree it has occurred. A total of 2577 students who have been registered and who have not been registered to Gazi University Institute of Social Sciences, Institute of Health Sciences, and Institute of Educational Sciences in 2011 - 2012 Fall Term participated in the study. Results of the study demonstrated that there is low-level relationship between Academic Postgraduate Education Exam which affected on accept an scores when it was counted, the average of undergraduate graduation, foreign language score and interview score. It was expected that ALES score is the most effective one while accepting a student to graduate school, but it was detected that the interview score affected more on accepting. Furthermore, when classification decisions were reviewed, it was detected 82% of students who applied to a graduate school were classified correctly.
