The nine‐step synthesis of the title compound (I), an alkaloid of Pandanus amaryllifolius, features furan oxidation with singlet oxygen and then spiro‐N,O‐acetalization and elimination to generate the target compound and further Pandanus alkaloids, pandamarilactonines A‐D.
