Zusammenfassung: | From a systemic perspective, this study explores the conditions imposed on the design of systems of products in contexts grounded in variability, differentiation and customization. A pilot study for the construction of the instrument of primary data collection was performed. A survey on 57 design experts, to establish the conditions to be met by systems of products in these markets was applied. Through an exploratory factor analysis the number of variables was reduced, the components, relationships and the design variables were indentified. Three components are obtained: Abilities, Attributes and Representation; these factors demarcate the design variables and establish the character of the systems of products. Findings are contrasted with literature. The article concludes with the discussion of implications for the design of systems of products and future researches. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT] |
