ANÁLISE DA ESTRUTURA DE MERCADO E DA CONDUTA DOS TERMINAIS INTERMODAIS DO CORREDOR LOGÍSTICO DE GRÃOS DA REGIÃO CENTRO-OESTE/ANALYSIS OF MARKET STRUCTURE OF THE BEHAVIOR OF INTERMODAL TERMINALS OF GRAIN LOGISTIC CORRIDOR IN THE CENTRAL-WESTERN REGION OF BRAZIL

Market structure and the conduct of intermodal terminals in the grain logistic corridor in the central-western region of Brazil are investigated by SBP (structure, behavior, performance) model. A qualitative-quantitative (or mixed) analysis was undertaken in which the qualitative approach foregrounded the research's quantitative stance. Results show that the sector is highly concentrated and characterized by an oligopolist market structure, confirmed by the terminal's behavior. Results may be a parameter for public policies for adjustments and improvements in the sector besides providing relevant information for clients and for the terminal's administrators.
