Zusammenfassung:Isaacs et al investigate federal internet usage guidelines, public school Acceptable Use Policies (AUP) as they pertain to social networking, as well as the social networking policies of higher learning institutions in the US. They include institutional examples of policies that are currently in place in both public schools and schools of higher education. They conclude with suggested guidelines for faculty who are interested in using social networking websites for educational purposes.
