ChemInform Abstract: Electrochemical Synthesis of Amides: Direct Transformation of Methyl Ketones with Formamides

The synthesis of secondary and tertiary amides from ketones and formamides is achieved under metal‐free conditions by using an electrochemical system composed of NaI and DMSO.
