Zusammenfassung:The purpose of the study was to construct a structural model to assess the employees' entrepreneurs based on leadership styles in the Department of Environmental Protection Organization of Tehran. The population comprised all the employees of the Department of Environmental Protection Organization, out of which a sample of 260 employees was randomly selected. The research tools consisted of a researcher-made questionnaire on employees' entrepreneurship. The had 63 items with thirteen underlying constructs of the need for progress, the center of internal control, tendency towards risk taking, the need for independence, creativity, competitiveness, self-confidence, realistic, persistency, time management, being open to criticism, being vivacious, being purposeful with Cronbach's Alpha index of 0.86. The second questionnaire was Avolio's (1996) leadership styles questionnaire which consisted of 41 items with 8 underlying constructs of idealized influence (attributes), idealised influence (behaviours), inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, individualised consideration, contingent reward, management by exception (active), management by exception (passive) with Cronbach's Alpha index of 0.90. The results of path analysis using LISREL software indicated that dimensions of leadership styles had a direct effect on entrepreneurs with the indexes of 0.63. The model also showed that the factor of idealised influence (behaviours) in leadership styles had the highest direct effect on entrepreneurs. It was also concluded that the proposed model had full fit. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
