Outage Probability and DMT Performance of Underlay Cognitive Networks with Incremental DF and AF Relaying over Nakagami-m Fading Channels
This letter studies the outage performance of cognitive radio systems with incremental decode-and-forward (DF) and amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying in a Nakagami-m fading environment. The outage behavior and diversity-multiplexing tradeoff (DMT) are investigated. These results indicate that the DMT...

Zusammenfassung: | This letter studies the outage performance of cognitive radio systems with incremental decode-and-forward (DF) and amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying in a Nakagami-m fading environment. The outage behavior and diversity-multiplexing tradeoff (DMT) are investigated. These results indicate that the DMT is irrelevant to the primary user and the secondary system can achieve the full diversity order. Simulation results substantiate the accuracy of our analysis. The presented method/steps for performance evaluation are applicable to other fading channels. |
