Zusammenfassung:EOS have been previously described to enhance CD4+ T-lymphocyte cytokine secretion in vitro in the presence of Staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB) superantigen. Since SEB is not recognized as a stimulus for asthma exacerbations, we sought to evaluate an alternate mechanism of T-lymphocyte activation relevant to human asthma.
