Infants Presenting with Recurrent Infections and Low Immunoglobulins: A Comparison of Characteristics Among Those With Isolated Low IgA versus Other Immunoglobulin Abnormalities
Methods To examine this question, we prospectively evaluated 92 infants with decreased immunoglobulins (Ig) and intact cellular immunity; classifying them as 47 with isolated decreased IgA (Group I), 34 with decreased IgA and IgG (Group II), and 11 with all three isotypes decreased (Group III).
