Asthma at Age 6 is Associated with an Early and Variable Pattern of Allergic Sensitization in Childhood

Plasma allergen-specific IgE results were evaluated by fluoroenzyme immunoassay (Unicap® 100, Pharmacia Diagnostics) at ages 1,3, 5 and 6 years for the following antigens: dust mite, Alternaria alternata dog dander, cat dander, grass, birch, ragweed, cockroach, peanut, milk, egg and soy.
