Nasal Response to Repeated Challenge with Endotoxin in Healthy Volunteers

Significant (p < 0.05) blunting of the LPS-induced PMN response (82.40 + 23.48 vs. 175.3 + 78.96 PMN/ml) as well as decreased sCD14 and IL-8 levels are observed in the nare that received repeated LPS challenge compared to the control nare.
