Specific IgE level and prediction of tolerance in mustard allergy

The aim of the study is to define threshold value of specific IgE assays in the diagnosis of mustard allergy in children and to establish prognosis factors in recovered children. The study was carried on 129 consecutive children with suspected mustard allergy. Mustard allergy was documented by clinical history, skin prick tests (SPT), specific IgE (Cap System, Pharmacia), and oral food challenge (OFC). Children were divided into 3 groups.
