Detection of allergenic conidia and hyphae of Alternaria alternata and Aspergillus fumigatus using a novel double immunostaining technique

Isolates of Alternaria alternata and Aspergillus fumigatus were grown on V8 agar for 10 days at 24.9°C. Conidia were collected directly from culture onto mixed cellulose ester protein binding membranes (0.8μm).
