Zusammenfassung:Children with multiple segment involvement were of similar age (4.7 vs 4.3 yrs), more often male (75% vs 25%), had similar peripheral eosinophilia (503 vs 404/mm3), higher IgE levels (279 vs 84 IU), similar food positive CAP-RAST(50% vs 66%), similar food skin test positivity (50% vs 50%), environmental allergen positivity (50% vs 50%) and quantitative immunoglobulins (33% low IgG, A vs 100% normal) compared to those with isolated EE.
