The WBC was elevated with PMN on 31490 cells/mm3, thrombocytopenia 13,000/mm3, prolonged PTT and PT, blood and CSF cultures were negatives, autoimmunity test were negatives, serum immnoglobulins levels were normal, C3 and C4 normal levels but nitroblue tetrazolium reduction was 0%.
