Assessment of the association between cesarean section and subsequent development of childhood asthma: A population-based cohort study

From the birth certificate we determined mode of delivery (Cesarean section vs vaginal excluding attempted vaginal deliveries followed by Cesarean sections) and according to comprehensive medical record reviews, we determined asthma incidence during the first 7 years of life.
