Identification of Autoimmune Urticaria in Chronic Urticaria Patients by Autologous Serum Skin Tests Versus Basophil Activation Tests

Basophil activation tests (BAT), assessing CD203c surface expression on basophils from selected atopic donors stimulated with sera from CU patients, were performed on 34 CU patients.10 healthy donors provided normal control sera for the basophil CD203c activation test.
