Zusammenfassung:Quick heating-up technology for coiled wire rods has been developed, which utilizes convectional heating up with combustion from inside through coiled wire rods. The state-of-the-art Q.F. (Quick heat type batch Furnace) that is applied with the quick heat-up technology has been installed in 1991, and shows quite effective results as follows; (1) Product capacity increase of 20% (2) Stable quality, such as hardness and decaburization level of surface. (3) Threefold increase of labor productivity and improvment of operation environment due to the fully automated line.
