Zusammenfassung: | We asked 96 small business owners to rate the criticality of 10 Human Resource issues to their current businesses. The owners perceived the HR issues as having different criticality levels. The analysis showed that the innovation facet of Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO) explained significant differences in owners' perceptions of HR activities. The risk propensity facet of EO did not predict differences in the perceived criticality of HR issues. Relevant literature is presented, and then the survey method and measures are detailed. We discuss the findings, limitations and strengths of the research, and, finally, suggested next steps. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT] |
